ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

RATP Dev is seeking a results-driven and community-focused Assistant General Manager of Paratransit and On Demand (micro transit) Operations to support the daily oversight and strategic execution of the Sun Van service in Tucson, Arizona. The AGM will lead daily operations, support strategic growth, and uphold the highest standards of service, safety, and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Transportation, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in paratransit or fixed-route transit operations. Experience with Trapeze PASS or similar scheduling software. Experience in a unionized work environment. Knowledge of ADA regulations and paratransit operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee daily operations of Sun Van paratransit and micro transit services.

· Lead and develop a diverse workforce.

· Monitor and improve KPIs such as on-time performance and customer satisfaction.

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations (ADA, FTA, DOT, OSHA)

· Collaborate with union representatives to maintain productive labor relations.

· Optimize technology tools such as Trapeze PASS for scheduling and dispatch

· Assist in preparing and managing operational budgets with a focus on efficiency and cost savings.

· Address customer service issues promptly and implement improvements

· Support sustainability initiatives in transit operations.
