Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Cannot have an employment gap of more than 90 days (regardless of reason) in the past 12 months.

Weekends and On call(if any): If you call in on a weekend, you will automatically be placed onto the following weekend for replacement of day called in.

Floating Area(s): Surgical unit, Stroke unit, typically care for the med-surg overflow patients in these units

Preferred skills/experiences:

-Acute Care Experience or Skilled Nursing facility

-Wound Care Management

Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue

10 days maximum time off

2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required
