Relief Emergency Veterinarian

The Veterinary Emergency Specialty Center of New Mexico (VESCNM) is looking to add Relief ER Veterinarians to support our Albuquerque location. The ideal candidate is an experienced ER Veterinarian (surgical skills a plus!) with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a positive work environment. The practice consists of board-certified specialists in surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, acupuncture, and animal behavior. The hospital offers in-house bloodwork, digital radiography, transfusion capabilities, after hours emergency surgery, and one on one critical care support. Additional specialty services include CT, endoscopy, ultrasonography, and MRI during regular specialty hours. The location offers a vibrant cultural, art, and culinary scene with many outdoor activities year-round. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, patient-first approach, efficient time management, and a desire for ongoing learning and development. Competence in basic emergency surgery is not required but surgical skills are a bonus. The position offers flexible scheduling and work/life balance.
