\n - Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice or multi-state compact)\n
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift\n
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift\n
- Minimum of 2 years recent bedside clinical experience; LTAC, acute care, or critical care experience preferred\n
- Previous LTAC nursing or long-term acute care experience is a plus\n
\n\nResponsibilities – LTAC / Night Shift RN Duties\n
\n - Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to identify patient teaching needs and measurable goals\n
- Provide timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record\n
- Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from day one\n
- Communicate changes in patient status to providers to ensure continuity of care and patient safety\n
- Supervise and provide direction to LPNs, CNAs, and orientees; support clinical development of teammates\n
- Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to hospital policies and LTAC standards\n
- Assume charge responsibilities as needed following orientation and demonstrate leadership on night shifts\n
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to LTAC nursing and travel RN roles\n
