Job Details
  • Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5 shifts/week (8-hour days)
  • Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 1:6 OR call-only (at least once weekly, possibly twice); must respond within 30 minutes while on call
  • EMR: Medaxion
  • Team: 5 CRNAs, 5 operating rooms
  • Case Mix: 30% Endoscopy, 30% Orthopedics (including spine), 20% General/Urology, 15% OB (~450 deliveries/year), 5% ENT
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Kansas CRNA license OR eligibility for rapid credentialing (Kansas licensure preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of CRNA clinical experience in perioperative and OB anesthesia
  • Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Current KS Patient Compensation Fund coverage or ability to obtain
  • Clean professional file to support expedited credentialing
  • Proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (adductor canal/femoral, popliteal, interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary, TAP; occasional PECS)
  • Skilled in neuraxial techniques: spinals, epidurals, and other neuraxial anesthesia
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a diverse caseload (endoscopy, ortho/spine, general, urology, OB, ENT)
  • Perform spinals, epidurals, and ultrasound-guided regional blocks as indicated
  • Respond promptly to OR and OB call requirements (30-minute response while on call)
  • Document anesthesia care, perioperative notes, and communication in Medaxion EMR
  • Collaborate with surgeons, obstetric team, nursing staff, and fellow CRNAs to ensure coordinated perioperative care
