About the Role:
Clifton Burt Pain, PC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician to join our dedicated medical team in Clifton, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients by delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with pain-related conditions
- Perform thorough physical examinations and review patient medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and lab results
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care in compliance with clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including specialists, nurses, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and pain management strategies
- Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS)
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid and unrestricted New Jersey medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (Pain Management, PM&R, or related field preferred)
- DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Experience with EMR systems and maintaining thorough medical documentation
