Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking New Graduate RNs/RNs Med Surg for a permanent/full-time position in Kansas. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Position Details:

• Position Name: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical
• Location: Salina, Kansas
• Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Pay Rate: $29.00 - $43.00/hour (Based on education and experience)
• Shift Differential: $2.00/hour for evenings, nights, and weekends
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 (discussed during the interview)
• Unit: Medical-Surgical
• Patient Ratio: Maximum 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Shift: Days or Nights (Based on department needs)

Education, License & Certification Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program – Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Active Kansas RN License or Compact RN License – Required
• BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) – Required

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and communicate findings promptly to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Promote patient safety while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
