The Recycler is responsible for operating equipment in a safe manner, unloading recyclable materials, and placing materials in the designated areas. This role will help maintain a clean and safe work environment, and identify and report any and all unsafe conditions to the Lead/Manager. Duties include operating equipment safely, unloading and sorting recyclable materials, placing materials in proper designated areas, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, reporting unsafe conditions, and performing all other duties as assigned. Requirements include the ability to communicate proactively and effectively, a High School Diploma or equivalent warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, ability to operate equipment such as forklift, bailer, compactor, densifier, clamp truck, and flexibility to work hours including weekends. Physical requirements include ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance, and move objects up to 250 lbs with or without accommodations. The job involves standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product 90% of the time, sitting 5%, and desk or phone work 5%.
