We have a full-time Packing and Shipping Clerk position available. Work shifts are 8 hours starting at 7:00am M-F.

** Stable Work History is a must**

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packing and Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately packing products and preparing them for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures will be essential to maintaining smooth operations in our packing and shipping process.

• Operate software for outgoing shipments
• Safely and efficiently operate several types of material handling equipment, including standard forklifts
• Pack products carefully to ensure safe and secure delivery, following all packaging guidelines and procedures
• Label and tag shipments accurately to prevent any mistakes during transit
• Perform quality checks to confirm that products meet company standards before shipping
• Complete all necessary shipping paperwork accurately and on time
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to keep storage areas organized and facilitate easy access to products
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to support operational efficiency
• Assist with inventory management, restocking, and organization of stock when needed
• Prepare shipments for both domestic and international delivery
• Maintain attention to detail at all times, in order to ensure accurate documentation of shipments
• Monitor and clean the yard at all times of trash and debris to keep your workplace clean and safe
• Adhere to all company policies and maintain a minimum of unplanned absences and tardiness
• Maintain a positive attitude and ensure that Curtis Machine is a positive environment to work in, free of unnecessary conflicts and issues
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Basic computer skills for using shipping software and tracking orders
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

We offer great compensation and benefit packages, after 60 days of employment. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, short- & long-term disability insurance, after 90 days, paid holidays, after a year, 401(k) and vacation, and other great benefits. This benefit package has an estimated annual value of $9,500 depending on insurance selections.

Previous experience in logistics and shipping is a plus for both our decision to hire and your starting wage.
