Job Summary
- Cleans and restores building interiors damaged by water, mold, sewage, odor, or fire.
General Accountabilities
- Cleans and deodorizes walls, floors, and building contents.
- Packs and stores contents as required.
- Removes and disposes of non-salvageable materials.
- Extract water and moisture from buildings using commercial equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Performs light demolition and repair work as required.
- Cleans and maintains equipment and vehicles.
- Complies with federal, state, and company safety and environmental rules.

Physical Demands
- Frequent lifting over 50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time).
- Access and mobility in tight spaces.
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to use mobile devices for collection of data and time.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least one year of experience as a restoration technician is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Must have reliable transportation.
- Licenses/Certifications: Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) - WRT, ASD, and AMRT certifications are a bonus. WRT (Water Restoration Technician) is desired. The company will provide additional training.
- Must be familiar with the TPA (Third Party Administrator) Insurance program requirements.
- Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
- Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
- Must have a deep knowledge of customer service, as well as the principles and practices of this.
- Ability to work with time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
- You will be periodically requested to work at night and during weekends.
- Must pass a background check.
