Basic / Essential Functions
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area and back-of-house support areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and reset dining room tables according to restaurant standards, as assigned
- Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift
- Complete opening and closing side work as assigned
- Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs, including cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, mopping floors, and other cleaning tasks
Requirements
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety rules and procedures
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry typical restaurant items (e.g., dish racks, trash bags)
- Ability to work around heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals used in restaurants, with proper safety procedures
