Facilities Department seeks qualified candidates for:

HVAC/R and Oven Technician

SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, baking ovens, intake and exhaust fans, minor electrical repairs, minor technology repairs, minor plumbing, and minor cosmetic repairs.

Core Job Duties:

• Complete Assigned Service Requests.
• Trouble shooting of HVAC/R and Oven systems
• Evaluate the reliability of HVAC/R and Oven systems.
• Provide required / requested maintenance for HVAC/R and Oven systems.
• Provide custom relevant solutions to our Customer’s when repairs are needed.
• Trouble shooting knowledge of electrical and refrigerants.
• Support repairs of plumbing, electrical, and handy-man items as required
• Maximize time in stores through pre-planning routes one day in advance.

Wage : $24-$30 per hour (experience based) with quarterly bonus opportunity and benefits

• EPA License
• Journeymen’s License a Plus!!
• Tech savvy on an iPhone or Android device to manage tracking time and parts.
• Minimum 2 years in the HVAC & Refrigeration field performing service work.
• Ability to Read and Interpret Wiring Diagrams
• Roof access and the ability to climb a ladder
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Background Check & Drug Screen
• Ability to wear protective equipment needed for the job and work in narrow aisles and passage ways including confined spaces.
• Ability to use equipment and tools of the trade including but not limited to: Recovery/Recycle Machine, vacuum pump, manifold gauge, acetylene torch, amp probe, voltage tester, leak detector, pipe wrench, hand drills, pipe cutter, hammer, shovel, scissor lifts, man bucket, etc.
• Ability to perform heavy work, asserting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and 50 lbs or more on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures below 32 degrees and extreme hot temperatures up to 100 degrees for long periods of time.
• Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends required.
• Periodically ‘on call’ for service coverage
• Keep assigned service vehicle organized, clean, and stocked properly
• Physical installation technology equipment like monitors, keyboards, cameras, etc.
• Physical troubleshooting of network and electrical cable connections for technology equipment
• Perform basic technology configuration with assistance of remote support staff
