Why Hansen / IR Pros?

Hansen Cold Storage, part of the IR Pros family of companies, is seeking an accomplished Director of Business Operations to lead our next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role not one focused on maintaining the status quo. You'll evaluate how we operate, build scalable processes, and bring greater visibility and accountability across the organization, working closely with executive leadership to connect strategy, people, financial performance, and day-to-day execution.

As part of IR Pros, Hansen is connected to a growing organization serving the industrial refrigeration market across multiple disciplines. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape operations rather than inherit them influencing business strategy while helping build the systems and teams needed for long-term growth. The ideal candidate combines strong business and financial acumen with operational leadership experience and knows how to turn strategy into measurable results.

If you're an operations leader who enjoys building, improving, and scaling businesses — and want your work to have visible impact — we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Own

· Lead the development and execution of operational strategies that support Hansen's business and growth objectives.

· Partner with executive leadership to translate company goals into actionable operating plans.

· Establish and monitor KPIs, budgets, forecasts, productivity measures, and operational performance metrics.

· Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve profitability and execution.

· Develop scalable processes, workflows, SOPs, and accountability systems across the organization.

· Work cross-functionally with operations, construction/project management, service, finance, procurement, HR, and other business functions.

· Lead and mentor department leaders while establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.

· Evaluate organizational structure, staffing needs, and resources as the business continues to grow.

· Improve communication and coordination between field operations and corporate/business functions.

· Leverage technology, automation, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and visibility.

· Oversee key vendor and partner relationships and support contract negotiations where appropriate.

· Identify operational and financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

· Provide executive leadership with clear reporting, insights, and recommendations regarding business performance.

· Lead major operational initiatives and change-management efforts from strategy through implementation.

What We're Looking For

· Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, margins, and operational performance.
