Summary
The Lead Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children, in compliance with the DCF 251 State of Wisconsin Licensing rules and regulations. This role ensures a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that promotes the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth of all children.
Duties
·Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the DCF 251 guidelines.
·Maintain a safe and sanitary classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
·Conduct regular observations and assessments of each child’s development and progress.
·Foster an inclusive environment that respects and values diversity among children and staff.
·Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s development and any concerns.
Requirements
·Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
·At least 1 year of experience in a licensed child care setting.
·Knowledge of DCF 251 State of Wisconsin Licensing rules and regulations.
·Strong communication and organizational skills.
·Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
·CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
