Personal Injury Trial Attorney - North Bethesda, MD or Annandale, VA - ONSITE
A growing litigation-focused law firm in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area is seeking a well-established Personal Injury Attorney who is committed to advocating for individuals and families throughout Maryland. The firm is known for its client-focused approach, collaborative culture, and commitment to achieving meaningful results through skilled litigation and trial advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Advocate for clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents
- Develop case strategy and evaluate claims throughout the litigation process
- Take and defend depositions and participate in discovery
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients during alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to effectively manage caseloads
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and guidance
Requirements:
- Active Maryland or Virginia Bar admission
- Litigation experience
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively within a team environment
- Trial experience, courtroom appearances, and deposition experience are highly valued
