- Ability to understand and create blueprints for the shop and installation team
- Understanding of basic carpentry and fabrication techniques
- Understanding of 3D and 2D modeling techniques
- Understanding the requirements of CNC milling
- Understanding of basic building codes both residential and commercial
- Scenic experience a bonus
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving

Software

- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Bonus points for Autodesk Maya

Job Tasks

- Create fabrication and installation blueprints
- Create custom cabinetry designs and blueprints
- Inspect submitted designs for potential safety and fabrication issues.
- Output cut paths for CNC machining
- Editing designs and blueprints for fabrication, shipping, and safety considerations
- Verifying the accuracy of the final product
- Preparing Bill of Materials
