Intermountain Health seeks a full-time Pediatrician (Pediatrics) to join our team in Nevada. Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with experienced medical leadership and support. As a pediatrician you will provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Perform a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, sport physicals, ADHD/ADD management, circumcisions, well childcare and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases. Work schedule is 4/10s. Reasonable patient volume with a built-in referral system. Must be willing to cover more than one practice location. Call: Yes. Nursery Rounding: 1-3 days per week at the hospital. Weekend call. Nursery hospital call. Requirements: Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada MD or DO license. Current Nevada DEA certificate and Pharmacy license required prior to start date. BC or BE in Pediatrics (if Board Eligible must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire). Must have 2 years of experience as a Pediatrician. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) must be obtained and maintained. Preferences: Fluent or Medical Spanish-speaking ability. The ability to perform circumcisions.
