- Prepare, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments using specialized equipment such as sterilizers, Sterrad machines, and ultrasonic devices
- Ensure all sterilization processes meet hospital and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and instrument tracking
- Collaborate with surgical teams to confirm instrument readiness for procedures
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Support emergency response efforts if assigned to an Emergency Team during hospital events
Required:
- Valid CRCST or CSPDT certification
- At least 3 years of experience in hospital-level sterile processing (Level I or II)
- Experience working with sterilizers, Sterrad, ultrasonic cleaners, and other processing equipment
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
