**Overview**

The Staff Accountant II is responsible for preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.

**Primary Responsibilities**

+ - Prepare and analyze variance analysis, reports and records by collecting, and summarizing account information- Responsible for general ledger- Fixed asset processing and reporting- Ad-hoc reporting - Monitor reserve accounts and short-term fund investments- Prepare and assist with audit- Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts monthly- Research and reconcile all discrepancies- Following internal controls- Financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

**Physical Demands**

- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

- Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
