As a **Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol** in **Gibbstown, NJ** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
**Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour**

**How This Role Works:**
+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, hazardous conditions, and/or policy violations.
+ Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support access control procedures for restricted and sensitive areas.
+ Prepare clear and accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or operational concerns, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
