Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for putting together components, parts, or pieces of products according to specific blueprints, schematics, and engineering instructions. The ideal candidate has excellent manual dexterity, a strong eye for quality control, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Product Assembly: Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to precisely assemble components.

Tool Operation: Safely use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment (e.g., screwdrivers, soldering irons, wrenches, torque drivers, and pneumatic tools).

Quality Control: Inspect parts and completed products for defects, alignment issues, or functional errors. Report any quality deviations to the supervisor immediately.

Testing Calibration: Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and calibration on assembled units to ensure they meet operational standards.

Inventory Management: Monitor component stock levels at your workstation and request replenishments to maintain continuous production.

Safety Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools.

Skills and Qualifications
Technical Reading: Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, or work instructions.

Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small, delicate parts or heavy components repeatedly.

Attention to Detail: Precision-oriented mindset to ensure products are built exactly to specifications without missing steps.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, or sit for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs regularly.

Teamwork Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with production teams, quality assurance, and engineering.

Education and Experience Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Technical school certification or vocational training is a plus.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or electronic assembly is preferred, though entry-level positions with on-the-job training are available.

Certifications (Optional but preferred): IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification (for electronics/soldering roles).
