Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work experience in an administrative assistant or similar role in an office setting.
• Computer Skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and Excel) and web browsers.
• Language Skills including excellent English language skills and interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree;
• Have a customer-friendly attitude toward the public; and
• Be self-motivated and multi-task oriented, with the ability to set priorities in a busy environment.

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Standing, sitting, walking, lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use; occasional stressful situations and/or situations involving complex interpersonal communication. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Scope of work:

• Perform general administrative support duties.
• Assist in facilitation of athletic events.
• Prepare all sports game programs (includes printing and folding).
• File and maintain all athletic department paperwork.
• Appropriately handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence for Athletics Office.
• Enter vendor invoices and related data for payment.
• Reconcile and maintain department budget information.
• Gather data and information for reports and special projects as delegated by the Athletics Director or Operations Manager.
• Assist in planning special events.
• Assist with social media.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, tactfulness, and ethics at all times.

Some evenings and weekends may be required.
