A Mental Health Clinic is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis role involves providing psychiatric care to patients of all ages, primarily adults with some children and adolescents. Responsibilities include conducting 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits, managing new and established patients with a focus on medication management, and diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based practices. The provider will collaborate with and practice under a delegating physician in accordance with Georgia regulations and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Additional Job Details
- Case Load/PPD: 10-20 depending on how many new visits v fups
- Support Staff: 10 LMSWs, LPCs, and APCs, MDs
- Patient Population: All Ages
- Location Type: On-Site
- Prescriptive Authority Required: No

- Shift Hours: Full time (40 hours)
- Cases Treated: ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD, OCD, psychotic disorders, sleep and stress-related disorders, substance use
