**Job Title: Water Truck driver**
**Job Description**
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for driving approximately 80 miles per day and operating a Freightliner M2 three-axle, 4,000-gallon, 6-speed manual transmission vehicle. The role includes training on the specifics of water systems and requires 1-2 years of experience with CDL A or CDL B licenses. This position follows a schedule of Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with additional overtime as needed, including Saturday shifts from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
**Responsibilities**
+ Apply water to designated areas as required.
+ Report any vehicle issues, such as mechanical problems or necessary repairs.
+ Follow all safety precautions and adhere to all DOT rules and regulations.
+ Occasionally drive on roadways and haul equipment.
+ Fill the water tank using hoses or other equipment at designated water sources.
+ Operate the water truck's spray system to ensure even water distribution for dust control, compaction, or other site requirements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
+ Valid Class A driver's license with a clean DMV driving record.
+ Tanker Vehicle Endorsement certificate.
+ Tank and Hazardous Material Endorsement certificate.
+ Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with the Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
+ Prior driving experience with manual transmission.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arvin, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $21.30/hr.
