Key Responsibilities:
+ Data Analysis and Reporting:
+ Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
+ Design and develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations that communicate key findings to stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with business teams to gather and document requirements for custom reports.
+ Data Management:
+ Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
+ Maintain and validate databases and ensure data quality through regular audits and reviews.
+ Support the development, implementation, and documentation of data standards, practices, and processes.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration:
+ Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis.
+ Work closely with different departments (e.g., operations, finance, marketing) to support data-driven initiatives.
+ Act as a key resource on project teams, providing data input to support business strategies.
+ Continuous Improvement:
+ Seek opportunities to automate manual processes using scripting and advanced tools.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros.
+ Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, retrieving, and manipulating data.
+ Hands-on experience creating visual dashboards with Power BI or similar tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
+ Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL processes is a plus.
Experience:
+ 2-4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
+ Experience gathering requirements and building analytics solutions based on business needs.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field-or equivalent professional experience.
Soft Skills:
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with advanced Excel functions such as Power Query or VBA.
+ Working knowledge of cloud-based analytics platforms like Azure Data Factory or Google BigQuery.
+ Experience in creating predictive or prescriptive analytics models is a plus.
