Robert Half is seeking a Data Analyst with 4-5 years of experience in Excel, data reporting, and dashboard creation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, index-match, string parsing), and experienced with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Responsibilities include maintaining and parsing ERP and project planning data, creating weekly/monthly reports, building dashboards, and documenting standard operating procedures. Basic SQL knowledge, strong writing skills, and excellent people skills are essential, along with the ability to manage data quality and support basic project management tasks.
Requirements
Must-haves:
+ 4-5 years exp
+ Excel (proficient) - VLOOKUP's, index-matching, dashboards, conditional statements, string parsing; data parsing; data quality
+ Dashboards (great) - data visualizations, using data viz tools such as, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Airtable (bonus)
+ Data reports (great) - creating weekly or monthly data reports
+ SQL (basic) - understanding of tables, relational databases; ERP data experience (bonus)
+ Detail-orientation (very high)
+ Project management (basic)
+ Writing skills, e.g. standard operating procedures, technical specifications for data (great)
+ People skills (great)
Day to Day:
+ Maintain and parse data related to project planning, ERP data
+ Create data visualizations and dashboards, determining the most effect way to visualize information
+ Create weekly, monthly, daily data reports
+ Reconcile data, parse data, extract data
+ Maintain project structures and systems
+ Create and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation
