**How you'll make an impact in this role**
Provide support treatment, care and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport.
+ Arrive to the scene of an emergency, determines the situation, and develops a plan of action.
+ Use appropriate medical equipment and comprehends the severity of the injury.
+ Monitor patient condition and perform data collection. Communicate findings and patient condition to Registered Nurse (RN).
+ Assist with the mobilization, ambulation and transport of patients.
**What minimum requirements you'll need**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience preferred.
