**Shift:** Days- 7:00AM - 7:30PM, every other weekend.

Provides emergency patient care on a Basic Life Support (BLS) level to those in need to decrease the loss of life and ease pain and suffering to people in their time of crisis.
**Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of a PA approved EMT Training Program. Current CPR (BCLS) training.
+ Emergency Vehicle Operators Certification (EVOC).
+ Emergency Medical Service Vehicle Operators Certification (EMSVO).
+ Current PA EMT certification. Has not had their certification suspended for any reason as outlined in the Pennsylvania EMS Act.
+ Copy of Child Abuse History Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services;
+ Pennsylvania State Police criminal background clearance;
+ FBI criminal background clearance and fingerprinting;
+ Valid driver's license in good standing.
+ Has not been convicted within the last four (4) years prior to the date of application of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
+ Has not been convicted within the last four (4) years prior to the date of application of reckless driving or had a license suspended due to the use of alcohol or a moving traffic violation.
+ Has not been precluded from practicing for an EMS agency at the EMS provider's certification level in the last three (3) years.
