**The role you'll contribute:**
Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation.
**The value you'll bring to the team:**
+ Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport, under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols.
+ Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines.
+ Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols.
+ Responsible to manage during transport, Ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Left ventricular assit devices (LVAD).
+ Responsible for administration of approved medications consistent with approved EMS medical protocols.
Qualifications
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)
+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
+ Licensed Paramedic (PARA)
+ Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
+ Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO)
+ Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
