Equipment Operator – White Oak Landfill (Monroe, LA)

Pay: $21–$22 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 6:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Occasional Saturdays: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Waste Connections is hiring a dependable Equipment Operator to support daily operations at the White Oak Landfill in Monroe, LA. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to keeping our landfill running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Operate heavy equipment including trackhoes, dozers, compactors, off‑road dump trucks, and tractors

• Serve as a spotter to ensure safe movement of vehicles and personnel

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Pull, spread, and compact trash

• Haul and place dirt as needed

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• 3+ years of experience operating dozers and trackhoes
