Job Description

Insight Global is searching for O&M Technicians to join a large utility provider in Oklahoma City.

O&M Technicians are responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of power generation facilities, performing a wide range of duties that include monitoring and operating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators; conducting water chemistry tests; identifying and responding to abnormal equipment conditions; and performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. They are expected to read and interpret technical drawings, use SAP/PM systems for documentation and equipment tracking, and comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and the use of personal protective equipment. Technicians must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions, and must be available for on-call duties, overtime, weekends, holidays, and non-standard schedules. All roles require strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a demonstrated commitment to an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) safety culture, along with successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical exams, and job-specific assessments.

Compensation:

$20-30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

- Technical proficiency:

  ○ Familiarity with mechanical & electrical equipment (pumps, motors, valves, etc.)

  ○ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  ○ PLC system experience

  ○ Strong verbal and written communication

  ○ Ability to work professionally with teams and contractors
