Compensation Range:
Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $42.27 - $47.54 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.Department:
752000 Pathology Lab SvcsExpectations:
Performs a variety of standardized preparations and staining techniques of tissue sections from surgical or autopsy material for microscopic study and interpretation by the pathologist. Works with minimal supervision and is involved with coordination of workflow and instruction of other employees. This position may require flexibility of hours.EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
One year experience in an anatomic pathology laboratory preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Histology Technician (HT) Certification issued by American Society for Clinical Pathology Board (ASCP)
SKILLS:
Effective communication skills.
