In this position, you will play a key role during CST (Child Study Team) testing, providing accurate interpreting and translation services for students, psychologists, learning disability teacher consultants (LDTC), and speech specialists. Your ability to facilitate clear understanding across languages will be essential in helping students reach their full academic potential.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Korean and English (spoken and written)
• Previous experience as an interpreter, translator, or foreign language interpreter in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Familiarity with CST testing and terminology is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation between school staff and Korean-speaking students or families during CST evaluations
• Translate educational documents and communications as needed
• Assist psychologists, LDTCs, and speech specialists to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive exchanges
• Adapt language to different audiences while retaining the necessary detail and clarity
• Support smooth, effective communication throughout testing and related meetings
