We are seeking a Lab Technician to support prototyping, testing, and failure analysis activities for new and existing automotive products in Fishers, IN. This is a short-term position lasting until approximately September.

Duties:
+ Perform functional, durability, and destructive testing per work instructions
+ Set up, monitor, and document standard durability and environmental tests
+ Build and support prototypes according to work orders
+ Document test setups, results, and findings electronically and communicate with project teams
+ Rework and modify components in the lab fabrication shop as needed
+ Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies
+ Support material handling, shipping, receiving, and incoming inspections
+ Operate lab equipment including test systems and 3D scanners
+ Build custom cables, fixtures, jigs, and measurement tools as required
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment following 5S standards

Position Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent with hands-on electro-mechanical testing experience
+ Automotive or test lab experience preferred
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus
+ Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on lab environment
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
