Venza Care is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Nursing Department at Decatur Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. In this role, you’ll oversee nursing care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care.

Shifts Available:

1. Nights 6p-6a

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the nursing care in a particular department or shift.
2. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
3. Supervise, guide, and mentor nursing staff to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Monitor and adjust patient care plans as necessary.
6. Lead communication with patients, families, and physicians regarding patient care.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Alabama or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse license.
2. Experience as a charge nurse or in a similar leadership role is preferred.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. A commitment to providing high-quality care and hospitality.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
