Company Description
Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking Machine Operators to join our client’s production team in North Houston. This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to meet daily schedules
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Operate grinding machines with precision and care
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure product specifications and labeling meet design standards
- Follow 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Perform calibration tasks as required
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental protocols
- Use appropriate PPE and safety gear during all tasks
- Maintain clean and hazard-free operational areas
- Keep tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or violations immediately
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery in a manufacturing setting
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong understanding of machine operations and product types
- Familiarity with raw materials, safety data sheets, and resin mixing/dosage
- Ability to interpret product specifications including dimensional and visual standards
- Skilled in using measuring tools such as Pi-Tapes, measuring tapes, and Vernier calipers
- Knowledge of visual defect standards and quality benchmarks
COMPENSATION: $14
