We are currently looking for a skilled Machinist to work in an OEM manufacturing facility. As a manufacturer of laser workstations, we are seeking someone with attention to detail that can work in a small but fast-paced manufacturing facility.

We work with a variety of different materials. (Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Plastics, etc.) This role will produce precision parts using manual and automated equipment.

Job Requirements

• Set up, run Manual machines. (manual lathes, milling machines)
• Measure parts according to prints and work instructions.
• Operate manual and automatic surface grinders.
• Set up, run CNC mills and lathes (make offsets according to machining conditions)
• Check work for proper dimensions and visual defects.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Be able to work as a team or on your own.
• Must have your own Machinist tools.
• Follow all company requirements.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Due to current contract requirements you must be a US Citizen.

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in using manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines. (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
• Programming is not required but is a plus.
• Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
