**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description**
This position involves working on 3-axis Mills and 2-axis Lathes, with training provided on a 9-axis automated Mill and Lathe. The role requires proficiency in using manual drills, power tools, reading blueprints, and utilizing measurement tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and set up CNC machines, including 3-axis Mills and 2-axis Lathes.
+ Train on a 9-axis automated Mill and Lathe.
+ Utilize manual drills and power tools effectively.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Employ measurement tools such as calipers and tape measures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of one year experience in operating and setting up CNC machines, including HAAS, Fanuc, or Mayzak.
+ Proficiency in using calipers and tape measures.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

**Work Environment**
The position is located in an indoor, climate-controlled machine shop. The available shifts include First Shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and Second Shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with minimal overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
