**What You Will Do:**
+ Operate CNC Laser Cutting, Trimming, and Drilling machines
+ Follow all applicable policies and procedures and ensure safety rules are observed
+ Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, goggles, gloves, ear plugs, metatarsal safety shoes, etc.) as required
+ Required to work overtime schedule as requested to meet production needs based on established overtime procedures
+ Use precision measuring devices to effectively machine parts
+ Deburr parts
+ Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback in areas of People, Quality, Velocity and Cost
+ Use blueprints, gauges, torque measuring devices and/or other equipment to ensure conformance to quality specifications
+ Use and on for identification of variance from standard work
+ Be available to assist in other areas as needed
+ Participate in activities and exercises in support of the Caterpillar Production System (CPS) - 5S, RIWs, etc.
**What You Have:**
+ Must be able to operate machinist tools including CNC machines
+ High School Diploma/GED equivalent and minimum 2 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC machines
+ Knowledge of how to set and use gauges such as calipers, bore micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints for datum lines and tolerances.
+ Ability to interpret GD&T
+ Understand and use of measuring devices
+ Use of advance shop math
+ Ability to work overtime as needed
+ **Willing to work any shift**
**Top Candidates Will Have:**
+ Trade School Certificate, Associates Degree in Machine Technology.
+ Previous experience with setup, operation, and tear down of Laser Cutting and Drilling machines
+ Previous Machinist experience.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
**Summary Pay Range:**
$23.00 - $39.72
