Job Description
Medical Assistant needed to join a specialty clinic on a full-time basis. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, utilizing your medical skills and experience to make a positive impact.
Duties:
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care and procedures.
- Perform routine medical tests, such as vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Occasionally administer intramuscular injections and draw blood
- Provide patient education and support
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- Perform other duties as required by the healthcare team.
Skills:
- Experience working in a specialty outpatient clinic; ie rheumatology. GI, pulmonology, oncology, hematology, or cardiology
- Knowledge of vital signs and patient care procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistants with 2+ year of experience
-Active BLS
