Job Description

As a Research Lab Tech, you will perform laboratory procedures such as blood harvesting and urine monitoring according to protocol as assigned. You will be responsible for working with coordinators to assure the smooth and orderly flow of procedures in the Clinics, Lab and Urine Monitoring areas.
A day in the Life:
+ Collects and harvest plasma, serum, and all other required laboratory specimens accordingtoprotocol specifications.
+ Monitors the collection of urine and/or fecal specimens from subjects participating in studies.
+ Completes all required study documents and might need to be trained on special equipment per protocol.
+ Assures that all procedures and processing areas are maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
+ Performsotherduties as assigned.
Keys to Success:
**Education**
+ High / Secondary school diploma orequivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
+ Technical positions may require a certificate
**Experience**
+ Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).
+ In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
