A Medical Practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team and provide care at a skilled nursing facility in North Bergen, NJ.

Must be able to work either 2 PM -10 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM.

Duties:

• Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a respectful, professional manner.

• Collaborate with physicians by identifying patient care issues, providing clinical insights, and implementing directives.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including interviews, physical exams, and medical history reviews.

• Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in medical records.

• Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management.

• Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, wellness, and health maintenance.

• Develop and implement patient management plans to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain compliance with infection control policies and legal requirements.

• Participate in professional development activities and contribute to team growth and education.

Requirements:

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required.

• Demonstrated skills in clinical assessment, health promotion, infection control, medication administration, and pain management.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Commitment to self-development and staying current with professional standards.

• Experience in hospital or skilled nursing settings is preferred but not mandatory.
