Registered Nurse
Cardiology Clinic / Monday - Friday / 8:00am-5:30pm
Responsibilities
+ Accurately record patient history per policy
+ Retrieve initial basic condition of patients and create nursing history to report to appropriate practitioner
+ Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records
+ Maintain all required reports, records, statistics, etc.
+ Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment
+ Inspect area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, and take corrective action when violations occur
+ Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay them accurately to patients
+ Take calls from hospitals and nursing homes and relay appropriate information to practitioner in a timely manner
+ Assure test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner
+ Complete medical orientation checklist
+ Initiate appropriate patient education
Essential Skills
+ Registered Nurse with state of TN or compact state license
+ BLS Certified
+ EKG Experience Required
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Cardiac Experience Preferred
+ Will consider hospital or primary care experience

+ Office environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
