A growing primary care clinic in Miramar is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join their team as they prepare for an exciting new clinic launch. This is a great opportunity to work closely with providers and contribute to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care from day one.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting both the clinical and administrative functions of the clinic, ensuring patients are fully prepared for their visit and that providers have the information they need to deliver excellent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, etc.)
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR system (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Administer injections, vaccines, and perform basic lab tests (CLIA-waived)
• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms
• Manage patient flow to support efficient and timely care
• Handle prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (if applicable)
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies

What We’re Looking For

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (primary care experience preferred)
• Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks experience a plus)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
