School District SettingAbout the PositionAre you an Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school district team in Ohio. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Youll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students in achieving their academic and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings to enhance students' fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate strategies into the school environment.
- Assist with the development and implementation of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support student participation in school activities, promoting independence and success.
Qualifications- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Ohio(or eligibility for licensure).
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their fullest potential.
