This full-time, itinerant assignment will cover a 12-week maternity leave, with a start date of August 10, 2026, and the assignment concluding on October 30, 2026. You’ll work across multiple campuses, providing essential services to students at the start of the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to students, supporting their educational and functional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in meetings, in-services, and district professional development as requested.
• Support students ranging from early childhood through high school (caseload specifics to be determined).

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health.
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
• Must complete required fingerprinting for school district employment (prior prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse may be sufficient; JLA badge required and may take up to 10 business days to process).
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to best practices in pediatric OT.
