About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position through Barton Associates to provide coverage at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Texas. This 11-day assignment begins on June 9th and requires expertise in managing sick visits, follow-ups, and common ailments such as coughs, colds, flu, scrapes, burns, and rashes. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The NP will be filling in for a provider on vacation, handling routine primary care responsibilities, and interpreting labs and imaging results. This short-term opportunity offers a chance to contribute your family practice expertise in a diverse clinical setting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Interpret laboratory results and imaging studies

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals

• Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety standards

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas

• Experience with eClinicalWorks electronic health record system preferred

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required

• Flexibility to adapt to clinic procedures and systems

• No laceration repairs required for this assignment
