A full-time opportunity is available for a Compounding Pharmacist in Arvin, CA, running through July 2026 with the possibility of permanent placement. This contract position focuses on overseeing sterile and non-sterile compounding within a pharmacy setting, ensuring all medications meet quality and safety standards. There is also an immediate opening for a Retail Pharmacist role concentrating on dispensing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes according to USP 795, 797, and 800 standards
• Perform final prescription verifications to ensure accuracy and safety
• Fill, label, and prepackage medications efficiently and accurately
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills
• Counsel patients, providing clear answers to medication-related questions
• Ensure compliance with all Board of Pharmacy regulations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
• Full-time through July 2026

Qualifications:

• PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy
• Active California Pharmacist license required
• 3–5 years of pharmacy experience; compounding experience preferred
• Retail pharmacy experience will be considered for temp dispensing roles
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential
