**How you'll make an impact in this role**
+ Ensure safe and effective medication management by reviewing, verifying, compounding, dispensing, and overseeing appropriate selection, dosing, and administration of medications.
+ Identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems; recommend formulary alternatives; and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient care.
+ Supervise and support pharmacy technical personnel in medication preparation, maintenance, and distribution processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Provide drug information, patient counseling, and education to medical staff and patients; support academic initiatives as a preceptor and provide coverage across pharmacy operations as needed.
**What minimum requirements you'll need**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
+ Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
