Job Summary:We are currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Technicians will assist with the preparation and distribution of medications, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations. This is a dynamic role that includes rotating through various shifts and satellite pharmacy locations. Responsibilities:Work under the supervision of a pharmacist, rotating assignments and tours to meet department needsAccurately perform pharmacy-related tasks within designated timeframesDeliver, retrieve, and return medications, medication carts, and supplies throughout the hospitalOperate and troubleshoot automated dispensing equipment as necessaryAdhere to regulatory and institutional policies for pharmaceutical practice Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy settingExperience with pharmacy dispensing, sterile processing, and IV room operations is preferredStrong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentMust be licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Location: Elmhurst, NY Shift: 1:00 PM-9:00 PM
